Chicken with Chorizo and Lemon

Serves 4; Prep: 5 minutes; Cook: 30 minutes; Nutritional Value: high protein

1 chicken, cut into 8 joints-or use chicken pieces
250g mild chorizo sausage, cut into slices
1 lemon sliced
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 sprigs oregano

Place the chicken pieces, chorizo slices, lemon, paprika, oil and seasoning into a baking dish into which they neatly fit.
Mix them around then level them out into a reasonably single layer.
Poke in half of the oregano sprigs evenly.
Roast in a 225C oven until browned and cooked through-about thirty minutes.
Leave to sit for another ten minutes.
Serve garnished with the extra oregano sprigs.
